![]() After she was killed, Handsome Jack became furious and desperate for revenge, so he murdered Roland and kidnapped Lilith to charge the Vault key. It blurs over to him and stabs in his right pec, leaving a white trail of sparks in its wake. Before she died she called her father an asshole. I pull something out of my pocket, point it at him, and pull the pin. They destroyed the Eridium injectors that was keeping her alive. When the Crimson Raiders were looking for the key, Angel revealed herself to have been working for Handsome Jack the whole time, but in the end she decided that the Crimson Raiders should kill her to get the Vault key. She was used by Jack to charge up a Vault key to the Vault of the Warrior, by being pumped full of Eridium. It´s revealed that she killed her own mother when she couldn't control her powers. Once we´re done with all this Vault hunting stuff, I´d like to check up on her, if that´s cool." -Handsome Jack to Rhys while he is looking at a picture of AngelĪngel is a character mentioned in Tales from the Borderlands and a main character in Borderlands and Borderlands 2.Īngel is a siren and Handsome Jack´s own daughter. Don´t usually like people knowin about her, but. Actor Allusion: At some point, Vasquez calls Rhys 'chum'. That's why one might thing they teleported but the moment during the white screen wasn't a second but some minutes." Oh. Nonetheless, it is frequently cited as one of the best games Telltale produced, and its popularity allowed it to be properly integrated into the main series with Borderlands 3. But maybe shortly after they collected whatever was inside the chest and got back out of the vault the chest stopped to glow. Maybe to another planet or just back out of the vault as they collected the tressure and the vault is "useless" so every living thing inside gets tp'ed back out. It can indicate that they really did teleport. ![]() I think after the white screen the time was fastened forward for some minutes so Rhys and Fiona got back out of the vault with the treasure.īecause no telltale game ends with one final answer they added the delayed stop of the glowing effect of the vault's tressure. ![]() After the screen fades white for a moment the next scene doesn't connects to the previous one from the aspect of time. They opened the vault and the player doesn't get to see what's in it. In my opinions they both didn't teleport at all. I managed to finish this game after over 1 year in my steam library and I am really satisfied with the ending as it leaves enough potential for an individual interpretaion. It goes beyond cheesy esthetic things like the name of the forest: The Greate Olde Woode, an example of what TV Tropes calls Ye Olde Butcherede Englishe. I bring that thread back to live like the clock did: I think it would be really sad if the team couldn't get together again :( I really hope Borderlands 3 or the second season of Tales From The Borderlands (or whatever the next game in the franchise is) clarifies this and features Sasha, Vaughn, Loader Bot and Gortys. I mean, they just had a conversation about Rhys' intentions with Sasha and now he doesn't get to be with her at all? And Fiona was so glad Sasha was still alive and that she didn't lose her, and now she loses her anyway? Those are the questions that are driving me crazy. What kind of annoys me is the fact that it's just Fiona and Rhys being teleported away, leaving everyone else behind. The ending of Borderlands 2 shows a map with many different vault worlds, so my guess is that Fiona and Rhys were being teleported to another world and that the next game in the series will be set on that world. The way I see it, that's totally a cliffhanger. Why didn't they show that place then? And how do they go back? The ending shows the vault portal being inactive.
